Spark is the only youth empowerment program in the country that
addresses the dropout crisis by re-engaging at-risk students through
hands-on, individualized apprenticeships.
For the past four years, Spark has hosted its annual dessert tasting fundraiser in San Francisco to benefit our youth apprenticeship programs for at-risk middle schoolers. This February, Spark will present its first-ever LA SUGAR RUSH, featuring top LA chefs and restaurants and a high-end silent auction! Confirmed chefs include Top Chefs Danielle Keene from Bittersweet Treats, CJ from The Yard, Mirko Paderno from Oliverio at Avalon Hotel, Christina Olufson from Lucques and A.O.C, Twice the Vice, and Spark Culinary Arts Mentor Idalia Rodriguez from Goddess of Goodies!
